We may only have met "virtually", which today is the answer for the social circles of yesteryear. In the early years of selling cars, it was a time when you could be successful building relationships at the squash club, golf club, weddings, parties, and children's birthdays. Today's answer to that seems to be social media.
Our dealership formula is a compilation of many experiences melded together. Andy's deep roots in selling began with door to door encyclopedia sales, then the showroom floor selling cars, then the leasing business selling financing options for business people, then owning a store selling antique furniture and furniture refinishing, on to managing a car dealership, leading to the consulting and coaching/training business.
During the course of coaching and training processes in dealerships across Canada, Andy realized the best formula for a car dealership would be to specialize and focus on our target customer and their passion for luxury sports cars. Luckily they are a match for each other; nice cars and quality people.
Our simple formula is to buy what we are excited about as if we were going to own it ourselves, advertise that we have it available and the customers will come and get it.
So most of Andy's day is spent researching what he wants to buy, followed by making a good presentation of what we have to offer, leading us to answer the questions that our customers may have, then ask them to buy. The rest is the everyday work of resolving issues, as they arise, to achieve customer satisfaction, thereby personal gratification.
