On the road — or better yet, the track — the 2019 Mustang GT PP2 transforms the character of the car. In many ways, the 2019 Mustang GT with Performance Package Level 2 represents a high-water mark for the S550-generation Mustang. It’s rare, too — offered only for a limited time and only with the manual fastback GT — which has made it increasingly desirable on the used market. It delivers Shelby-like grip and handling in a more affordable, factory-backed package, giving enthusiasts a truly track-capable car that doesn’t carry the Shelby nameplate or price tag.
