The 2010 Challenger SRT8 captures the essence of its 1970s predecessor with bold lines, a wide stance, and a menacing front grille. Classic styling cues—like the long hood, short rear deck, and retro badging—merge seamlessly with 21st-century performance.
At the core of the SRT8 lies a naturally aspirated 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine, churning out 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Paired with either a 5-speed automatic transmission with Autostick, the SRT8 offers blistering straight-line speed and a visceral exhaust note that echoes pure American muscle. 0 to 60 mph comes in around 4.9 seconds—respectable even by today’s standards.
Painted in the iconic Torred colour. Is it orange? Is it red? The answer is both, the illusive color gives off orange hues in bright lighting and a reddish tone in darker lighting.
